12 Days of Curvemas: 5 Leather Cutouts

It's day 5 of Curvemas, and I am delighted to share with you some of the wonderful styles that are currently available at Your Big Sister's Closet, located at 3126 Dundas St. West in Toronto. I think this visit was my 3rd or 4th visit to the store this year, considering how I have known the owner, Karen (of Curvy Canadian) since March. I also had the opportunity to model for Your Big Sister's Closet at the Fuller Woman Expo earlier this year (see here for the FWE post), so I was excited to see Karen and her hubby Peter again. Peter was gracious enough to offer taking some photos of me, which turned out amazingly!

I had an awesome time browsing the store, selecting some outfits to try on an being photographed in them for this blog set. I love how I can walk into the store and be attracted to almost everything in there, and it's so effortless to find an ensemble that I love! I find it pretty rare that I walk into a store, and be attracted to almost everything lately. Your Big Sister's Closet has a huge variety and a more hip/trendy look, so the merchandise feels like it was practically hand-picked for me (ha!). I had no problem finding 4 looks (I even found a 5th!) to feature for the next 4 days of Curvemas. Check out today's outfit below!

Perfect for a Saturday night on the town or a special holiday party, this long-sleeve faux leather cut out top (available here) is paired with a black lace skirt (available here) for a seamless look! I especially love the skirt, it is extremely versatile and it's actually so comfortable! It would definitely be easy to add a different colour top to the skirt for a more feminine and colourful look or dress down the top with a sleek pair of jeans. The possibilities are endless with these two items!

Stay tuned for the next three posts: tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday!
Happy Holidays!
