Curvy Style: One Dress, Two Bodies

Earlier this month, I picked up this gorgeous Dorothy Perkins dress from Erin of Zero Style from the Fat Girl Food Squad Pop-Up Sale in Toronto. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check out my write-up from the event HERE

When I tried on this dress quickly at the event, I fell in love. My style is typically quite feminine, so naturally I adored the colours and the print on this dress. When I tried it on at home later, I noticed that the dress didn't fit me as well as I would have liked it to...it was pretty short on me. Regardless, I styled it as a mini-dress and accessorized accordingly.

I ended up snapping a few pictures of it when Jess was over and then gifted it to her because the length was slightly more appropriate for her! As much as I was sad to part with my new dress, I'm glad that one of my best friends could be it's new owner! Jess also styled the dress at my place and used some of my accessories (like my amazing Addition Elle felt hat) to style it!

We just wanted to share with you all how one item could be styled two different ways on two different curvy body types! I think we both rocked it in our own ways. Let me know what you think by commenting below <3
